OSUSTECH convocation ceremony › The Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) Maiden Convocation Ceremony programme of events.
The Maiden Convocation Ceremony of Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) has been scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 17th to Sunday, 22nd March, 2020.
The convocation will open with a Press Briefing/Facilities Tours on Tuesday, 17th March, 2020 at the Council’s Chamber, Main Campus by 11:00am.
Day two, which is Wednesday, 18th March 2020, shall witness a sensitization talk for Secondary School Students at The Faculty of Science Auditorium, Main Campus, by 10:00am.
Also, there would be a friendly Football Match between OAUSTECH team and Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo team the same day at OAUSTECH Sport Complex, by 2:00pm.
Inauguration of Alumni Association of the University will hold at the University Main Auditorium, Main Campus, by 11:00am on Thursday, 19th March, 2020, while an Alumni night will take place the same day at the Faculty of Engineering Auditorium, Mega School, Ayeka, by 7:00pm.
A Convocation Lecture would hold on Friday, 20th March, 2020 at the University’s Main Campus, by 11:00am with the title “Travails of Nigerian Nation: Science and Technology to the Rescue” to be delivered by a foremost academic and an eminent scholar, Prof. O. Ibidapo-Obe, OFR.
A Jumat Service would hold the same day at the Central Mosque, Okitipupa by 1:30pm while a Convocation Play titled: “This is our Chance” would hold the same evening at the Faculty of Engineering Auditorium, Mega School, Ayeka, by 5:00pm.
The Award of First Degrees and Presentation of Prizes would take place on Saturday, 21st March, 2020 at the University Main Auditorium, Main Campus, by 10:00am.
The maiden convocation ceremony would end with a Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, 22nd March, 2020 at Anglican Church, Lebi Street, Okitipupa by 10:00am.
