Oyo State Technical University to Take Off in September

Oyo State Technical University to Take Off in September:

The Oyo State Technical University will take off at its Ajoda campus by September 2014.

Governor Abiola Ajimobi, who stated this in Ibadan, said students of the university would have the opportunity of studying in Nigeria and in the United States.

He said, “The Oyo State Technical University will be the first of its kind in Nigeria. Our students will study for two years in Nigeria and move to the University of Texas, US, for the final two years of their programmes.

In September 2014, the university will take off from the second campus in Ajoda, while we will continue to work on the main campus on the expressway. I was in Ajoda sometimes ago and saw idle assets so I thought that instead of wasting the facilities there, we could convert them to use.”
