The board has approved the rescheduling of two significant events for the students – the 43rd Matriculation Ceremony and the first semester examination.
New Date for Matriculation Ceremony
The Matriculation Ceremony, a much-anticipated event for all the fresh students, marking their formal acceptance into the Polytechnic, has been moved to a new date. The 43rd Matriculation Ceremony of the Polytechnic is now set to hold on Friday, 16th June 2023. This gives the matriculating students additional time to prepare for this momentous occasion.
Rescheduling of First Semester Examination
Additionally, the first-semester examination, a significant academic event for all the students, has also been rescheduled. The new date for the commencement of the examination is Monday, 3rd July 2023. The shift in the examination date allows students extra time to prepare and revise their course materials to ensure they perform to the best of their abilities.
The academic board of the Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, is confident that these changes will allow students adequate time to prepare for both events and hopes that all students will make the most of this extra time.
