Rivers Gets New Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas

Federal Government approved the siting of a Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas in Bonny, Rivers State.

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, approved the sum of N1 billion as take-off grant for the polytechnic to commence academic activities and also appointed the pioneer principal administrative officers for the institution.

The administrative officers of the polytechnic have been named as follows; Professor Elijah will be the Rector; Mr. Willabo A. Gilbert, the Registrar; Mr Akpomeyoma Gabriel is the Bursar and Mr Ata John Woke Ajala will be the polytechnic librarian.
