Any student who fails to comply will not be permitted to participate in the semester examination. Key documents required for clearance include receipts of acceptance, payment for admission letter, result verification fee, school fees, and officially stamped ND/HND admission letters. The semester examination commences on Tuesday, 20th June, 2023.

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic Notice on Payment and Registration Policies

Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has recently reasserted its commitment to enforcing institutional policies regarding the payment of approved fees and completion of screening/registration formalities. The school management emphasizes that only students who fulfil these requirements before the commencement of semester examinations will be allowed to participate in them.

Sticking to the Extant Policy

RUGIPO’s management wants to remind the polytechnic community, particularly its students, of the existing policy. This policy states that any student who fails to pay their fees and complete the necessary screening/registration formalities will be prohibited from participating in the semester examinations.

The management has made it abundantly clear that this policy will be enforced in full for the first-semester examination of the 2022/2023 academic session. Therefore, all students are urged to comply with the stipulated procedure and pay their fees promptly.

Required Documentation for Examinations

To ensure full compliance, RUGIPO has detailed the list of documents every student must present before being allowed into any examination halls during the semester examination. The required documents include:

  1. Acceptance or Admission Fee Receipt
  2. Receipt of Payment for Admission Letter
  3. Result Verification Fee Receipt
  4. School Fee Receipt(s)
  5. Appropriately signed and officially stamped ND Admission Letter for ND Students, and HND Admission Letter for HND Students.

The possession of these original documents is mandatory for every student planning to participate in the upcoming semester examination.

Adherence to Deadlines

The first semester examination for the 2022/2023 academic session is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, 20th June, 2023. Consequently, all students must ensure they are in possession of the original documents listed above prior to the commencement date.

Students who do not comply with these conditions will not be allowed to sit for the examination, as per the school’s strict enforcement of its extant policy.

A Call for Compliance

The management of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) encourages all students to strictly adhere to these stipulations. The goal is to uphold the standards of the institution and to ensure a smooth, orderly examination process.

Failure to comply with these policies will have serious implications, including disqualification from the semester examination. The management therefore urges all students to act accordingly and promptly to avoid any unpleasant circumstances. It is hoped that students will understand the need for these measures and work towards fulfilling their obligations in a timely manner.
