Sa’adatu Rimi College Matriculates New Undergraduate Students


Sa‟adatu Rimi College of Education, Kumbotso has matriculated 412 undergraduate students for the 2015/2016 academic session. This is the third set of students admitted to undergo the college degree programme in affiliation with Bayero University, Kano.

Speaking at the occasion, the Vice Chancellor of Bayero University Kano, Professor Muhammad Yahuza Bello, who was represented by the University‟s Registrar, Hajiya Fatima Binta Mohammed, mni congratulated the new students for securing admission into Bayero University, which he described as one of the best universities in Nigeria.

“The matriculation exercise today initiates you into the Bayero University family. You should familiarize yourself with the General Examinations and Academic Regulations (GEAR) especially the rules governing examinations and good conduct,” the Vice Chancellor added.

Professor Yahuza Bello called on the new students to shun any form of cultism or examination misconduct. “You should jealously guard the honour and reputation of the  university and present yourselves as good ambassadors of the University.”

The Provost of the College, Dr. Sule Musa, who was represented by the Deputy Provost, Dr. Kabir Ahmad Gwarzo, said this matriculation exercise was the third since the college,   started to run degree programmes in affiliation with Bayero University, Kano.

Dr. Sule Musa thanked the university for the cooperation and support extended to the college which he said contributed a lot towards the successes being recorded by the college in academic activities.
