Who can apply?
UTME Entry
You must:
- Sit the 2025 UTME
- Score above the departmental cut‑off
- Have five O’Level credits including English and Maths (not more than two sittings)
- You can apply even if you’re waiting for results
- If you didn’t choose GVU, change your institution on the JAMB portal then complete GVU’s online form
Direct Entry
GVU accepts:
- NCE (Merit or better), OND, HND or a degree in a related course
- JUPEB, IJMB or other A’Level programmes
- Five O’Level credits, including English and Maths
- 2025 JAMB Direct Entry registration
Conversion Entry
For those switching from HND or already holding a degree:
- Buy the application code
- Have five O’Level credits including English and Maths
- Submit your university transcript
Transfer Students
You must:
- Have a CGPA of at least 1.5
- Hold a valid JAMB admission letter from your current school
- Submit your transcript directly to GVU
- Fill out the inter-university transfer form
- Sit a screening interview
