Steve Ogah Essay Competition: Win a Full Scholarship for Nigerian Students

The Steve Ogah Essay Competition is now open for submissions.

Organised by the Love In Action Foundation, this year’s theme is “From Hashtags to Action: Gen Z’s Blueprint for a Better Nigeria.”

This competition encourages Nigerian youth to go beyond online conversations and propose real, practical solutions for the country’s progress.

Participants are invited to explore key issues and suggest creative solutions in areas like:

• Energy
• Digital education
• Youth unemployment
• The economy

Essays should focus on practical strategies to address these challenges and bring about positive change in Nigeria.

Eligibility for Steve Ogah Essay Competition

This competition is open to Nigerian students enrolled in government-owned universities and polytechnics at the undergraduate level.

Students from all faculties and departments can submit essays.

Prize for the Winning Essay

The winner of the Steve Ogah Essay Competition will be awarded a full undergraduate scholarship.

How to Apply for Steve Ogah Essay Competition

Follow these steps to apply:

1. Write your essay in English with a maximum word count of 1,500 words.
2. Submit your essay online by visiting the Steve Ogah Essay Submission Form.
3. Ensure your essay is in PDF format.

Submission Requirements

Your submission must include the following:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number
• The name of your university
• Your essay title

The essay should be original, unpublished, and entirely your own work.

Essays using plagiarised content or AI-generated content will be disqualified.

Rules and Guidelines

• The essay should be typed and no more than 1,500 words.

• Only single-author submissions will be accepted.
• Co-authored essays are not allowed.
