How to Apply

If you meet the eligibility criteria, you are invited to submit a portfolio of three published pieces of work. These pieces should have been produced in the 12 months preceding the deadline for submissions, which is midnight GMT on August 11, 2023. Entries can be in any medium — print, audio, video, or multimedia.

Your entries should be accompanied by a letter from your current editor on headed company notepaper, verifying that it is your published work. Freelance or self-employed entrants can have their work verified by an editor from one of the publications/websites/broadcasters where the work appeared, or by a journalism academic familiar with their work.
