Entry Requirements

Educational Qualifications

To be eligible for admission, you must have five (5) credit-level passes in SSCE (WASSCE, NECO, or GCE O-Levels) from no more than two sittings of the same examination body. The required subjects are:

  • Chemistry
  • Physics

Professional Qualifications and Experience

For Two (2) Calendar Years Programme

In addition to the educational qualifications mentioned above, candidates must possess one of the following professional qualifications and relevant experience:

  • Diploma in Community Health: With a minimum of two years post-qualification experience.
  • Community Health Extension Workers Certificate: With five years of experience.
  • Registration: Must be registered with the Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) and possess a current practising license.

For One (1) Calendar Year Programme

Candidates must:

  • Have qualified as a Community Health Extension Worker.
  • Possess a first degree in Community Health Science, Health Education, Public Health, or an HND in Community Health.
  • Hold a current practising license.
