Authority of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina, has released the names of candidates offered provisional admission into the university various first-degree programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session via direct entry.
It has been observed that many candidates who were offered admission by UMYU have not done the needful. It is good for all candidates to note that admission is a process. All candidates need to upload their O’Level results (and A’ level in the case of Direct Entry candidates) on the JAMB portal.
The upload can be done at any JAMB CBT Centre. Only the admission of candidates who uploaded their documents can be processed further for the JAMB admission. Candidates must also accept the offer made to them through their personal JAMB portal.
Those who were offered admission with the change of programme need to accept the change through their personal JAMB portal before their admission can be processed further; or on their own, initiate and change their programme to the one proposed by the institution.
Candidates are being advised to complete the outstanding processes (if any) as the university will round up the 2021/2022 Admission Exercise by the end of this week. Whoever failed to do the needful is at his own risk and stands the risk of losing the offer. Furthermore, JAMB will kick start the next session admission exercise by next week and there may not be the chance for those who do not comply to regularize their admission anymore.
Congratulations to all the candidates that made it to UMYU direct entry admission list.
