Admission Requirements
For Master’s and Doctorate Programmes
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree with at least a Second Class Lower (2:2) in Allied Health Sciences, Biological Science, or Biomedical Sciences. Candidates with a relevant Postgraduate Diploma or professional qualifications are also considered.
- Professional Registration: Required for all nursing programmes, except for Sports Nursing which may consider candidates with a degree in Sports Education or related fields.
- O’Level Credentials: Five credits including English, Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Chemistry.
For PGD in Public Health
- Educational Background: Same as above with specific focus on health-related fields for better contextual understanding and application.
For Professional Diploma in Care-giving
- Age and Experience: Candidates should be at least 25 years old with three years of relevant work experience.
- Academic Requirement: An HND, Bachelor, Master’s, or PhD degree in any field, and a professional certificate in health-related areas.

Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) is required, which you can pay through REMITA at UNIABUJA’s Application Portal.

Programme Duration and Study Mode
- Doctorate Programmes: Ranging from 36 to 96 months depending on whether you opt for full-time or part-time studies.
- Master’s Programmes: Typically 21 to 30 months for full-time studies.
- Postgraduate Diplomas: Last 12 to 18 months.
- Professional Diploma in Care-giving: Six months, offered both virtually and physically.
