UNIBEN Post UTME Screening Form | University of Benin [UPDATED]

The University of Benin (UNIBEN) Post-UTME Screening Form is now available for the 2024/2025 academic session.

Each year, many students aim for excellence by applying to universities, and UNIBEN is ready to begin its screening process.

Aspiring candidates need to understand the details of this process to prepare well.

Eligibility for UNIBEN Post UTME

• Only candidates who applied through JAMB for the 2024/2025 UTME admission are eligible.
• Applicants must have chosen UNIBEN as their first choice.
• A score of 200 and above in UTME is required for eligibility.
• At least five credit passes in WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent are necessary.
• Subjects must include English Language and Mathematics, plus three other relevant subjects, not more than two sittings.
• Candidates must have a valid e-mail account before starting the application.

Step-by-Step Application Process

Timeframe

• Applications are open from 8.00 a.m. on Friday, 16th August 2024, until midnight on Saturday, 5th October 2024.

Starting Point

• Ensure you have a functional email account.
• Visit the official university site.

Student Portal

• Navigate to the ‘Student Portal’ and click on the WAEUP Portal.

Registration

• Click on ‘Register for application’ at the top left.
• Enter your surname and JAMB Registration number to get your ID and password.

Login and Application

• Use your username and password to log into the WAEUP KOFA Student Portal.
• Click on ‘Application record’ to provide all necessary information and upload your passport photograph.

Photo Specifications

• A recent “1 x 1” colour passport photo with a red background in JPEG format is required.
• This image will serve as the ID for admitted students at UNIBEN.

Payment

• The application fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00).
• Payment can be made at any commercial bank in Nigeria using an ATM-enabled card.
• Follow on-screen instructions after selecting “pay via Remita.”

Finalise Application

• Before submitting, ensure all information is accurate.
• No corrections are allowed after the application deadline.

Print Documents

• After submitting the application, return online on the specified date to print the acknowledgment and screening invitation slips.

Screening Details and Course Groupings

The Post-UTME Screening Exercise for 2024/2025 is scheduled from Monday, 7th October 2024, to Saturday, 12th October 2024.

The screening will occur at designated centres within the Ugbowo Campus.

The screening will use the Computer Based Test (CBT) method.

Candidates must be seated at least one hour before their scheduled screening time.

Return online on 27th September 2024 to print the acknowledgment slip with your specific screening schedule.

Important Notes

• Candidates must go online from 27th September 2024, to check their specific day, venue, and time for the screening.
• All candidates must be seated one hour before their screening exercise.
• Mobile phones and calculators are not allowed.

Candidates must bring the following to the Screening Centre:

• Acknowledgment slip
• Screening Invitation Slip with the screening schedule

Application Closing Date

The application website closes at midnight on Saturday, 5th October 2024.

All applications must be completed online by this date.

Candidates who pay after the deadline will not be screened.
