University of Calabar (UNICAL) Postpones 35th Convocation Ceremony Indefinitely

The management of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has postponed the 35th convocation ceremony for the Award of Diplomas, First Degrees, Post Graduate Diplomas, Higher Degrees, Honorary Degrees and presentation of Prizes indefinitely.

The 35th Convocation Ceremony of the University of Calabar scheduled to hold on the 25th and 26th of March, 2022 has been officially postponed.

A release issued by the Registrar of the University of Calabar, Mr Gabriel Egbe and made available to the Public Relations Unit of the institution attributed the postponement to ” prevailing uncertainties in the educational sector” occasioned by the ongoing strike embarked upon by ASUU.

The release as issued by the Registrar regret the inconveniences and accordingly assured that a new date would be announced in due course.
