University of Jos (UNIJOS) Extends Late Registration for 2020/2021 Academic Session

The commencement of late registration for both fresh and stale undergraduate students of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has been extended. Check the UNIJOS registration deadline below.

This is to notify members of the University Community especially students who are yet to conclude their registration for the 2020/2021 Academic Session, that the closing date for the current registration exercise has been extended.

Management of the University of Jos has approved the extension of commencement of Late Registration for Fresh Undergraduate and Returning Students of the University for the 2020/2021 Academic Session for a further two weeks. The exercise will now take place between Monday, 7 to Friday, 25th February 2022 during which, in addition to the N10,000 Charges to be paid as a penalty for Late Registration, all Fresh Undergraduate Students who have paid the N25,000.00 Pre-Registration Fees are to pay the approved N20,000.00 as the balance of their School Charges while Returning Students are to pay N45,000.00 as their School Charges

Management’s decision followed an appeal made in that regard by the University’s Students Union Government (SUG) which was duly considered and approved

The Late Registration exercise had earlier been scheduled to be conducted between Monday, 24th January and Friday, 11th February 2022 With the extension, all Students are strongly advised to complete their registration by Friday, 25 February 2022 or be deemed to have forfeited their Studentship and they will no longer be considered as Students of the University of Jos irrespective of their Levels of Study.

All students are strongly advised to be wary of unsolicited approaches from fraudsters under the guise of rendering them assistance to enable them to register They should also avoid patronizing road side Business Centres for any transaction pertaining to the University of Jos as the University will not be held liable for any breach in such transaction.
