UNILAG Masters in Urban Management Admission Details

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) Masters in Urban Management Programme Admission is now open for applications. Overview of the Programme

The Masters in Urban Management is housed within the Urban and Regional Planning Department at UNILAG. This programme is part of the DAAD-SDG Graduate School initiative, under the WITS-TUB-UNILAG Urban Lab. The Urban Lab is a collaboration designed to bolster urban planning and management education across Africa, offering a limited number of highly competitive scholarships to exceptional candidates.

Curriculum and Skills Development

In this programme, you will gain theoretical, practical, and technical knowledge about urban functions, infrastructure, governance, and management. You will also develop analytical skills to tackle global, national, and local issues affecting urban communities. Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, you must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree with honours in any discipline from the University of Lagos or any other recognised university, with at least two years of post-qualification experience.
• Fulfil all other requirements as outlined by the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Lagos.
• Successfully complete the selection process for the programme.

Duration and Delivery

The programme is part-time, spanning four semesters. It features a blend of onsite and online lectures, providing flexibility for working professionals.

Eligible Nigerian candidates can access highly competitive scholarships under the DAAD-funded WITS-TUB-UNILAG Urban Lab Programme. These scholarships are aimed at supporting students who demonstrate exceptional potential and commitment to urban management.
