University of Ilorin, UNILORIN VC says admission is based on merit. The Vice-Chancellor pointed out that the University is raising top class graduates that are tuned to the frequency Nigeria needs.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali (OON), has said that all candidates seeking admission into the University would be given an equal opportunity, noting that Unilorin’s admission process is based on merit.
Prof. Ambali stated this last Monday (August 31, 2015), when he received the members of the Central Executive Council of the University Students’ Union in his office.
Explaining that the number of candidates seeking admission into the University is on the high side, the Vice-Chancellor noted that this is creating a huge pressure on the system.
Prof. Ambali, however, assured all admission seekers that the process would guarantee that every candidate is given equal opportunity.
The Vice-Chancellor pointed out that the University is raising top class graduates that are tuned to the frequency Nigeria needs.
