UNIPORT Post UTME 2024/2025: How to Register [UPDATED]

The University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) post-UTME form for the 2024/2025 academic session is now available. Candidates who selected UNIPORT as their first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored at least 160 are invited to apply for the post-UTME screening.

Candidates must have chosen UNIPORT as their first choice in the 2024 UTME and scored a minimum of 160.

How to Apply for UNIPORT Post UTME

Registration begins on Wednesday, 23rd July 2024, and ends on Thursday, 19th September 2024. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Visit the University Website: Go to the UNIPORT post-UTME registration page and follow the registration procedure.
2. Input UTME Details: Enter your UTME Registration Number and confirm your pre-loaded UTME details.
3. Generate Remita Code: Pay the N2,000.00 fee using your MasterCard, Visa, or Verve Card, or print the payment slip and pay at any bank with the Remita platform (ACCESS BANK PLC, ECOBANK PLC, FIDELITY BANK PLC, FIRST BANK PLC, FCMB, UBA PLC, AND UNIPORT-CHOBA MICROFINANCE BANK).
4. Obtain Remita Receipt: Get a receipt showing an Access Code from the bank teller.
5. Login Again: From Wednesday, 24th July 2024, log in with your UTME Registration Number and the Access Code.
6. Complete the Form: Fill in the online form. If awaiting O’Level results, indicate this on the form.
7. Submit and Print: Click the “submit” button and print the registration slip for the screening exercise.

Important Notes

• Inconsistency in Details: Ensure that names on O’Level certificates, UTME results, and other registration documents are the same. Inconsistencies may lead to disqualification.
• Age Requirement: Candidates must be at least sixteen (16) years old by October 2024.
• Prohibited Items: Mobile phones, iPads, iPods, Walkmans, and similar gadgets are not allowed in the screening venue.
• Registration Period: Register within the given period as the online link will be disabled at midnight on Friday, 16th August 2024.
• Physical Presence: Registration is online, so candidates are not required to be physically present on campus.
• Second Choice Candidates: Those who chose UNIPORT as a second choice must change it to their first choice to apply.
• O’Level Results: Ensure your O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB website as soon as possible.
• Contact Details: Use valid personal telephone numbers and email addresses for registration.
• Screening Attendance: Candidates must attend the screening at the designated venues or risk disqualification.
• Parents and Guardians: Parents, guardians, and uninvited security agents will not be allowed on campus during the screening days.
