Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK) orientation programme that was earlier scheduled to hold from Tuesday, 1 March to Thursday, 3 March 2022 has been postponed indefinitely due to the one-month industrial action embarked upon by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
The new date will be communicated to the public in due course. We deeply regret the inconvenience.

The management of the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka (UNIZIK) has announced the date for the 2021/2022 academic session freshers’ orientation programme.
UNIZIK Fresher’s Orientation Programme Schedule
This is to inform all the newly admitted students of UNIZIK that the 2021/2022 Orientation exercise has been scheduled to hold as follows:
DATE: Tuesday, 1 March to Thursday, 3 March 2022
TIME: 9 am daily
VENUE: Basil Oli Hostel
