Here are the trio that emerged the overall best students in the 2013 West African Senior School Certificate Examination, WASSCE.

 Nineteen-year-old Oloruntoba Ogunfolaji has emerged the overall best pupil in the May/June 2012 West African Senior School Certificate Examination. She led two other girls to lift the prestigious West African Examinations Council National Distinction/Merit awards.

The Council honoured them during its Nigeria National Committee 52nd Annual General Meeting held in Minna, Niger State on Thursday.

According to the details of the score given by the council at the meeting the score for the candidate in the eight subjects including mathematics and English language is 666.6525, while the second prize winner Fasola Ifeoluwapo also with distinctions has the total scores in the eight best subjects including Mathematics and English language with 664.0075.

Also listed as third prize winner of the national distinction and merit award is Anyanwu Maureen Kelechi who scored 656.5480 in total. Their performance made their various schools to emerge winners of various trophies for producing the best students.
