Federal Government Declares May 1 Public Holiday to enable workers celebrate 2017 Workers’ Day and hold rallies.

The Federal Government has declared Monday, May 1, 2017 as public holiday to commemorate the 2017 Workers’ Day  celebration.

The Minister of Interior, Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (retd.), who announced this through a statement on Friday in Abuja, congratulated Nigerian workers on their resilience, hard work and commitment to the to the present administration despite current challenges.

Dambazau further urged Nigerian workers to support President Muhammadu Buhari “in his desire to transform the country.”
