Prizes You Can Win
You can win different prizes if your essay is one of the best:
- First place: ₦100,000
- Second place: ₦75,000
- Third place: ₦50,000
- Honourable mentions: Two winners, ₦25,000 each
If you cheat or copy from others or use AI tools, your essay will not win anything.
Who Can Take Part
To enter, you must meet these rules:
- You must study at a university in Nigeria, whether government-owned or private.
- If you finish your National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme by 31 May 2025, you cannot join.
- Only one essay can be sent per student.
- You must follow all rules given for writing your essay.
- You must use the online form given to submit your essay—do not send emails.
How to Write Your Essay
Your essay must follow these rules exactly:
- Write no more than 2,000 words.
- Use Arial font, size 12, with lines spaced at 1.5.
When writing your essay, clearly show:
- Why working with other people is good for your career.
- What good things can happen when you work together.
- What problems you may face if you do not work well with others.
- Give real-life examples from jobs, studies, or projects.
The judges want your writing to be neat, clear, and easy to read.

How Essays Are Judged
Every essay will be checked by two judges, who will give points as shown:
- Following essay rules: 10%
- Good order and flow: 10%
- Clearly telling good points of working together: 20%
- Clearly telling the problems when not working together: 25%
- Using strong examples from real life: 10%
- No spelling or grammar mistakes: 15%
- Ending your essay well: 10%
If your essay copies from someone else or uses AI, it will not count.
