We are pleased to announce to those who participated in the 2012 WAEC GCE that the examination body has released her results online. Participants can now check their result online (via WAEC result checking portal) and offline (via SMS). The 2012 WAEC GCE result was released on 19th, December 2012.

Steps to Check 2012 WAEC GCE Results Online
Buy WAEC result checking card from authorized agents and then go to WAEC official result checking website @ www.waecdirect.org and then follow the steps below.1. Enter your 10-digit WAEC Examination Number.
(This is your 7-Digit centre number followed by your 3-digit candidate number eg. 4123456789)
2. Enter the 4 digits of your Examination Year eg. 2002
3. Select the Type of Examination
4. Enter the Card Serial Number found on the reverse side of your Scratch card.
5. Enter the Personal Identification Number (PIN) on your Scratch card
6. Click Submit and wait for the results window to come up
Steps to Check 2012 WAEC GCE Results Offline (Via SMS)
Use the format below to check your 2012 WAEC GCE results offline via sms:WAEC*ExamNo*PIN*ExamYear to 32327 (don’t include any space)
For example: WAEC*4250101001*123456789012*2007.
Note that SMS cost is N30 and only MTN, Airtel & Glo subscribers can use this service.
Finally, we implore all 2012 WAEC GCE candidates to remember to send their results to their email by using the Send to Email button on their result page as this will save you from buy another result checking card after exhausting the 5 times limit given to you.
