Broadening Academic Horizons: BSc. Accounting Program

BUCODeL is currently accepting applications from appropriately qualified candidates for admission into the BSc. Accounting Program for the 2023/2024 academic year. This program is designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills in accounting, preparing them for a variety of roles in the global financial sector.

Admission Requirements: Ensuring the Right Foundation

For standard entry, candidates are required to have attained five (5) credits in no more than two sittings in five subjects. These subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any other two subjects at SSCE, GCE, or other recognized O’Level examinations. A pass in Economics may be considered provided the candidate has a credit pass either in Accounting or Commerce.

For direct entry into the 200 level of the program, candidates must fulfill the O’Level requirements and possess passes in three WAEC/GCE/Cambridge Advanced Level (A’Level) Certificate subjects with a minimum grade of C, which must include Accounting, Mathematics, and Economics.

In addition, Advanced Level passes in the ATS 3/ATSWA 3/Fundamental Level of Professional Examination/ACCA courses in F1, F2, F3, F4 or a minimum of Upper Credit in an OND or a minimum of Lower Credit in HND may secure admission into the 200 level of the Accounting program.
