IAUE Post UTME/DE Admission Screening Modalities and Procedures

The Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE) Post UTME/Direct Entry Admission Screening Modalities and Procedures for the 2024/2025 academic session have been announced.

The screening exercise will be conducted entirely online.

All candidates seeking admission to IAUE must remain at home during the screening.

Screening Process Overview

The screening exercise will follow these specific guidelines:

1. No Further Post-UTME Test: Candidates’ JAMB UTME scores will be used as the sole basis for admission decisions. Direct Entry candidates will be screened based on their uploaded documents.
2. Data Screening: The data provided by candidates through the JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), which has also been uploaded to the University portal, will be thoroughly reviewed.
3. Course Change Notification: Candidates who scored high in JAMB but did not rank well in their chosen course may be advised to change courses. This process will ensure proper admission ranking, considering the UTME and O’level combinations required by JAMB’s Integrated Brochure and Syllabus System (IBASS).

Candidates must take the following actions:

1. Monitor Admission Status: Regularly check the JAMB portal for any necessary changes to your application. This could involve:
   • Course Change: Some candidates may need to change their course within a given period.
   • Data Corrections: Candidates might need to correct certain details on the JAMB portal within a specified timeframe.

   Affected candidates will receive notifications via secured text messages. Confirm any such information on the University’s official social media pages and website.

2. Candidates with Awaiting O’Level Results: If you are awaiting your O’Level results, an online screening will be conducted once the results are uploaded to both the JAMB and University portals. Do not worry; a new screening date will be set.
3. Screening Commencement: The online screening exercise will begin on Monday, 26 August 2024.
