Eligibility Requirements
To apply for the NSTC International Internship Pilot Programme, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. student currently studying at a college or university outside Taiwan.
- Applicants must hold foreign nationality, excluding students from Mainland China, Hong Kong, or Macau, even if studying abroad.
- The programme is open to students in fields related to Taiwan’s key industries and research areas.
- Humanities and social sciences students are also eligible to apply.
- Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English, Mandarin, or Taiwanese.
- Students cannot receive financial support from other government departments.
