The Bridge Scholarship aims to help intelligent students in Africa access quality education, regardless of socio-economic barriers. This approach is both holistic and supportive, ensuring students receive not just financial aid but also mentorship and career guidance. The scholarship is awarded annually, and once selected, scholars receive support until graduation.

After graduation, scholars receive assistance to help them transition into successful careers. Over the past two years, 43 scholars have benefited from this competitive program, and 9 have already graduated.

Eligibility Criteria for The Bridge Scholarship

To qualify for the Bridge Scholarship, you must meet these requirements:

• Be fully enrolled in a public university in Nigeria.
• Demonstrate significant financial need.
• Show a strong commitment to completing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.0/4.0 or 3.5/5.0.
• Exhibit integrity and perseverance in overcoming challenges.
• Participate in community service activities.

Application Requirements for The Bridge Scholarship

To apply for the Bridge Scholarship, gather the following documents:

• Valid ID (such as NIN or Voter’s card)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Personal statement
• University admission letter
• Letter of identification and academic standing from your Head of Department
• Two recommendation letters
• Current university academic record or transcript (for Year 2 and above)
• WAEC or NECO result (for Year 1 students)
• JAMB result (for Year 1 students)
