The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has scheduled physical verification of credentials and travel documents for foreign-trained Nigerian Prospective Corps Members under the 2026 Batch 'C' Stream I Service Year, with the exercise fixed for Wednesday, 9 September to Friday, 11 September 2026.
The exercise applies to foreign-trained PCMs whose credentials and travel documents have not yet been physically verified and each affected candidate is expected to appear at the centre already selected with the required original documents.
NYSC Physical Verification Dates
Physical verification will hold from Wednesday, 9 September to Friday, 11 September 2026.
Each Prospective Corps Member is expected to report strictly on the date, time and venue printed on the verification slip.
This arrangement is intended to maintain order at the verification centres and reduce overcrowding.

Documents Required for NYSC Physical Verification
Foreign-trained PCMs are required to present all original credentials and travel documents that were uploaded or are expected to be uploaded, during online registration.
The physical documents will therefore need to correspond with the credentials connected to the candidate's registration.
Copies alone are not stated as substitutes for the required originals.
Requirements for Foreign-Trained Medical Graduates
Medical graduates have extra document requirements.
They are expected to upload their licences, registration certificates and other relevant documents issued by their respective professional bodies.
The original copies of these documents must also be taken to the physical verification centre.
Federal Ministry of Education Evaluation Letters
Original Evaluation Letters issued by the Federal Ministry of Education are to be submitted at the NYSC Headquarters in Abuja.
After submission, the acknowledged copies are to be uploaded online by the affected Prospective Corps Members.
Reporting Date, Time and Centre
Each PCM should use the details on the verification slip to determine the assigned reporting arrangement.
The stated date, time and venue are to be followed strictly; the exercise has been organised this way to control attendance at each centre.
A candidate should therefore use the centre already selected rather than choosing another venue from the wider list.
Physical Verification and NYSC Mobilisation Status
NYSC has stated that only persons who are physically seen with their credentials, physically verified and cleared will be deployed, exempted or excluded from National Service.
Physical attendance is therefore part of the stated verification requirement for affected foreign-trained graduates.
