OAU Executive MBA Programme 2023/2024: Apply Now for Career Advancement

The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) invites applications for its two-year (four semesters) Executive Master in Business Administration (MBA) programme for the 2023/2024 academic session. This professional programme is tailored to meet the complex needs of practicing managers who seek advanced education in business management while continuing their careers.

Objectives of the Programme

The Executive MBA at OAU aims to:

• Provide managers with an opportunity to acquire postgraduate education in business management and administration.
• Enhance the potential and proficiency of participants in modern management techniques.
• Develop high-level manpower needed in both public and private sectors, covering areas such as financial management, production, marketing, and human resource management.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for the Executive MBA programme, candidates must meet one of the following criteria:

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of Second Class (Lower Division) from any recognised university.
• Bachelor’s degree with Third Class plus a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) from any recognised university.
• HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, or related disciplines from recognised polytechnics, plus relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, ACII, ACIS, ACS, AMNIM, ANIMN, ARPA, ACIB, ACIPM, ACTI, CN).
• HND in other disciplines from recognised polytechnics, plus a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Administration, Finance, and Management disciplines from any recognised university.

Important Notice

All candidates must have five credit passes, including English Language and Mathematics at the O’ Level, as a basic requirement.

Method of Application

The application process is online. Follow these steps to apply:

1. Log on to OAU Application Portal.
2. Create an application account using a valid personal email address and password.
3. Select “Executive Master of Business Administration” under “Create New Form.”
4. Open the application form by clicking on the displayed form number.
5. Pay the application processing fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (₦20,000.00) through Remita.

Additional Information

Applicants should provide two sets of the following documents:

• Photocopy of all applicable academic and professional certificates.
• Photocopy of O’ Level Certificate(s) (WAEC/NECO).
• Original academic transcript.
• Birth Certificate/Declaration of Age.
• Photocopy of NYSC Certificate.

One set of these documents should be sent to:

Notification and Submission

Applicants will be notified of the MBA Admission Test (MBAAT) date via email. Progress on application forms can be monitored online, and admission letters will be sent by email.

Note: Any applicant whose original transcript is not available before the admission exercise commences will not be considered for admission.
