Entry Requirements for HND Programmes

To qualify for any HND programme, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• National Diploma (ND) or National Innovative Diploma (NID): Possess an ND or NID with at least a Lower Credit classification from an accredited institution.
• O’Level Requirements: Five credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
• National Technical Certificate (NTC) or National Business Certificate (NBC): Credit-level pass in a trade plus four relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics.
• Industrial Training Experience: One year of post-ND industrial training experience is required.
• Consideration for PASS Grade: Candidates with a PASS grade in ND/NID must have a minimum of two years of industrial training experience.

Applicants who obtained their ND from institutions other than Federal Polytechnic, Offa must forward a copy of their National Diploma Transcript to the Office of the Registrar within eight weeks of this advertisement.

Method of Application for Federal Polytechnic Offa HND Admission

To apply for the HND programmes, follow these steps:

1. Visit the Federal Polytechnic Offa Online Portal.
2. Processing Fee: Pay a ₦15,000 processing fee using a REMITA compatible ATM card.

2. Make Online Payment: Pay ₦2,000 using an interswitch-compatible ATM card.
3. Fill in Details: Complete the security form with personal information.
4. Upload Results: Submit O’Level results and necessary credentials.
5. Print Forms: Print the security form and post-screening slip.
6. Submit in Person: Deliver the printed security form to the security office at the main campus on Ojoku Road, Offa, Kwara State.

Closure of the Online Screening Exercise

The screening exercise portal will be open for four weeks from the advertisement date. Ensure all procedures are followed correctly. Non-compliance or false claims will result in disqualification and forfeiture of admission.
