Application Opening Date

Application Fee

There is a non-refundable fee of N60,000.00 (Sixty Thousand Naira) associated with the application. This fee ensures that all processed transfers are handled with the utmost care and efficiency.

How to Apply

  1. Payment Method: Pay the application fee through REMITA online. After payment, take your Remita printout to the Bursary (Investment Department) to convert it into an official UNIBEN receipt.
  2. Form Download: With your receipt, proceed to the University of Benin Website to download your application form.
  3. Submission of Documents: Attach the original UNIBEN receipt, a photocopy of your O’Level Certificate/Statements of Result, and a Passport Photograph (Red Background) to your duly completed application form. Submit the completed form to the Exams and Records Division, Ugbowo Campus (Room 25) or Exams and Records office, Ekehuan Campus (Former Staff Club Building) depending on your campus.

  • Inquiry Before Payment: It is crucial to make proper inquiries before making payments, as the fees are non-refundable.
  • Submission Locations: Completed forms should only be submitted at the specified Exams and Records offices and not taken to any Faculty/School or Department.

  • School of Basic Medical Sciences: Transfer is open to departments like Anatomy, Medical Biochemistry, Nursing Science, Physiology, and Physiotherapy.
  • Restrictions: No transfers are allowed into Dentistry, Law, Medicine, or Pharmacy.

Eligibility for Engineering Students

Students wishing to transfer into the Faculty of Engineering must have completed the 100 level in their present faculty.
