University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) Matriculation Ceremony

The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), formerly known as Cross River State University of Technology (CRUTECH), has announced the Matriculation Ceremony for all first-year degree students for the 2024/2025 academic session.

The ceremony is an important milestone marking the official induction of newly admitted students into the university community.

Schedule for the UNICROSS Matriculation Ceremony

Requirements for Participating in the Ceremony

1. Payment of Fees

All newly admitted students must pay their school fees and the matriculation fee in full before the ceremony.

Students who fail to meet this requirement will not be included in the matriculation register.

Such students will also forfeit their admission for the 2024/2025 academic session.

2. Deadline for Fee Payment

The university will not accept payments for school fees after the matriculation ceremony.

3. Registration and Documentation

Students who have completed fee payment should proceed to their departments and faculties to complete their registration and documentation.

Evidence of full payment is required to collect matriculation gowns from the faculty officers.

4. Return of Matriculation Gowns

Matriculation gowns must be returned to the faculty officers no later than two days after the ceremony.

Gowns returned later than one week after the ceremony will attract a late-return fee of ₦2,000 per day.

Expectations During the Matriculation Ceremony

All matriculating students are expected to exhibit proper conduct throughout the ceremony.

Acts of misconduct will attract disciplinary actions as outlined by the university regulations.
