General Admission Requirements

To be eligible for this transformative programme, you need to meet the following criteria:

• Academic Qualifications: A Bachelor Honours Degree from any recognised university or a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Postgraduate Diploma in any field from a recognised institution.
• Professional Qualifications: The programme also recognises other professional qualifications as equivalent for entry.
• O’Level Requirements: Possession of five ‘O’ Level credits in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, at not more than two sittings.

Programme Duration and Intake Periods

The programme admits students in two main streams, starting in April and August each year, with subsequent admission cycles running from November to December for January intakes and June to July for August intakes.

Application Process

1. Application Fee: A non-refundable fee of Thirty Thousand Naira (₦30,000.00) is required, payable through REMITA via the University of Abuja integrated portal.
2. Online Application:
   • Visit the UIIPS application page.
   • Select ‘International Institute for Publishing Studies’ from the list of options.
   • Enter your personal details such as surname, first name, other names, email address, and phone number, and proceed to the next step.
   • On the payment preview page, generate an RRR (Remita Retrieval Reference) and complete your payment using a Master or VISA card.
   • Upon successful payment, you will be redirected back to the portal, where your application number will be generated. Use this number and your surname to log in and complete your application.
