Kwara State Polytechnic (KWARAPOLY) cut off mark for the 2019 session admission exercise. If your UTME score is exactly or above Kwara State Poly cut-off mark, you will be considered for admission (via screening). If your UTME score is below the prescribed cut off mark, you may not be offered admission.

Authorities of Kwara State Polytechnic (KWARAPOLY) have released the cut-off mark for the 2018/2019 academic session admission exercise.



The Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin was established by his Excellency, the then Military Governor of Kwara State, Col. David Bamigboye. The decision to establish the Polytechnic was announced during the launching of the four Year Development plan in 1971.

The College eventually came into existence following the promulgation of Kwara State Edict no. 4 of 1972 (now overtaken by the edict no. 21 of 1984 edict No. 13 of 1987 and edict no. 7 of 1994) as a body empowered by statute “to provide for studies, training, research and development of techniques in arts and language, applied sciences, engineering, management and commerce, education and well as in other spheres of learning”.

Kwara State Poly Cut Off Mark.

To be eligible to participate in Kwara State Poly Post UTME screening exercise, you must have scored between 150 and above in the last Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

Candidates must have chosen Kwara State Polytechnic as their first or second choice. However, for the following programmes, the candidates must have scored the marks indicated against them as follows. Any candidate with Lower Scores should not apply.

  1. Accountancy – 160
  2. Civil Engineering Technology – 160
  3. Computer Science – 160
  4. Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology – 160
  5. Mechanical Engineering Technology – 160
  6. Business Administration – 170
  7. Public Administration – 170
  8. Science Laboratory Technology – 170
  9. Mass Communication – 180
