Abia State University 2013 / 2014 1st Admission List is Out

This is to inform all the 2013/2014 prospective candidates of the Abia State University (ABSU) that the institution has released her 2013/2014 academic session first/primary/merit admission list of candidates offered provisional admission into her various first degree programmes.


Candidates that participated in the Abia State University 2013 post UTME screening exercise can proceed to check their admission status from the institution’s admission status checking portal.

Candidates are required to purchase ABSU admission status checker scratch cards to access and print their offer of admission notice.

Steps to Check ABSU 2013 Admission Status

  1. Go to the institution’s admission status checking portal @
  2. When the page opens, supply the required credentials which are your JAMB registration number and the admission status checker scratch card pin in the appropriate column.
  3. And then finally click on submit button to access your admission status.

Successful candidates are to report at the Admissions office of the university at Uturu to collect the acceptance-of-offer form to enable the pay the necessary fees and obtain further instruction therefrom.

Any admission offer not accepted on or before Friday, 13th September, 2013 should be considered lapsed.
