UNILAG Registration & Screening Procedure for Freshmen 2021/2022

All newly admitted UTME and DIRECT ENTRY candidates are hereby informed that the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Oluwatoyin T. Ogundipe, FAS, has approved the extension of the 2021/2022 screening/registration exercise by two (2) weeks.

The exercise, earlier scheduled to close on Friday, February 11, 2022, has been extended to Friday, February 25, 2022, after which there will be no further extension.

The management of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), has released the registration and screening procedure for the 2021/2022 academic session newly admitted UTME candidates.

UNILAG Registration Schedule for Newly Admitted Candidates

All newly admitted UTME and DIRECT ENTRY candidates are requested to report for registration from Monday, 24th January to Friday, 11th February 2022 Friday, February 25th, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily as scheduled below. Candidates are advised to follow the under listed registration schedule strictly.

DOCUMENTS FOR SCREENING/REGISTRATION:

Candidates are to make the following documents available in duplicates (i.e. 2 SETS, 1 COPY EACH) for Screening/Registration. All documents must be arranged in the order outlined below:

  1. Two (2) copies of the Screening Form (Coloured and photocopy) (SIGN AND DATE)
  2. UNILAG Online application form (FOR DIRECT ENTRY ONLY – Coloured and photocopy)
  3. JAMB Admission Letter (Institution Copy – Coloured and photocopy)
  4. UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) (Not applicable to DIRECT Entry Candidates)
  5. UNILAG Post-UTME Result Slip (Coloured and photocopy) (JUPEB/OND/HND RESULT SLIP for DIRECT Entry candidates -Two {2} photocopies)
  6. O’Level Result Certificate (WAEC/NECO) OR an online version of the result (Two {2} photocopies) STATEMENT OF RESULT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE
  7. Letter of Reference from a reputable Clergyman/Imam/Lawyer/ Senior Civil Servant (Typed on Letterhead paper, indicate Status in Office, indicate Pastor-in-Charge/Chief Imam, Lawyer to place Valid NBA Seal), addressed to The Registrar, University of Lagos (original and photocopy)
  8. Birth Certificate/Sworn Declaration of Age (Two {2} photocopies)
  9. Testimonial from Secondary School attended (Two {2} photocopies)
  10. State of Origin Certificate (Two {2} photocopies)
  11. Toxi cology Test Result (Two (2) photocopies)
  12. Coloured Passport Photographs (12 Copies) All must be the same
