CRUTECH Post UTME / DE Form 2023/2024

In line with its commitment to fostering academic excellence, the Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH), now known as University of Cross River State (UNICROSS), is set to begin its Online Registration for the 2023/2024 Academic Session. This is an important notification for all prospective UTME and Direct Entry candidates who made UNICROSS their first choice and achieved a score of 140 and above in the 2023 UTME examination. The registration will commence from Monday, July 10, 2023.

CRUTECH Post UTME Screening Eligibility

1. Choose Cross River University of Technology (CRUTECH) their first choice and score 140 and above.
2. Did not choose CRUTECH at all but are interested in Cross River University of Technology and score 140 and above in the 2022 UTME Examination.

Candidates who fall under number (2) above are required to go to JAMB website and change to CRUTECH as their First Choice Institution.

How to Apply for CRUTECH Post UTME Form

To access the online application form, candidates will need to pay a screening fee of two thousand Naira (N2,000.00). This payment can be made online using a Master/Visa/Verve ATM card or at any commercial bank via the Remita platform on the school’s online application portal.

Registration Procedure

Interested candidates looking to register can follow these steps:

1. Access the UNICROSS Portal: Visit www.unicross.edu.ng and click on ‘EDU-PORTAL’. This will redirect you to https://portal.unicross.edu.ng.
2. Apply Now: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button on the homepage to navigate to the Post UTME page.
3. Provide JAMB Registration Number: Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click the ‘Check’ button to continue.
4. Confirm Your Details: After verifying your JAMB Registration Number, confirm your details and proceed to create an account.
5. Create an Account: Provide a valid email address and phone number to create your account and click ‘Submit’. You will receive a verification email.
6. Email Verification: Check your email (including the Promotions tab for Gmail users) and click on ‘Continue Registration’ to proceed.
7. Payment: Click ‘Continue’ to proceed to the POST-UMTE/DE Screening payment page. You can pay online using a Master/Visa/Verve ATM card or at any commercial bank through Remita after generating the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR).
8. Receive Login Details: Upon successful payment, you will receive an email containing your login details (email and password).
9. Log In and Change Password: Use your new credentials to log in. You will be prompted to change your password upon first login.
10. Update Biodata and Results: From your dashboard, you can update your biodata, UTME results, and O’level results.
11. Upload Necessary Documents: You will also need to upload all necessary documents.

Screening Method

The screening will be carried out online. Hence, candidates are required to scan and upload the following documents during the registration process:

1. 2023 UTME Result Slip
2. O’level Result(s)
3. WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Scratch Card(s) details as applicable
4. HND/ND/NCE Certificate (for Direct Entry Candidates only)
5. Birth Certificate
6. Certificate of Origin

Candidates should note that the screening is exclusively for those who scored 140 and above in the UTME Examination and chose UNICROSS as their first choice. Furthermore, due to the online nature of the screening, candidates are not required to travel to Calabar.
