Federal Government Education Bursary Award (EBA) 2025

The Federal Ministry of Education invites students to apply for the 2024/2025 Education Bursary Award.

The award is for students studying Education courses at Nigerian public Colleges of Education and Universities.

The bursary aims to support learning for Education students across the country.

Meet the Eligibility Rules

To apply, candidates must meet all the listed conditions.

The rules include:

• Being a student registered in a College of Education or University in Nigeria
• Studying an Education course
• Being a full-time student
• Being in the second year or above
• Not receiving any other scholarship at the same time

Every student must meet each condition to be considered.

Students living with disabilities are also invited to apply if they meet the rules.

Follow the Method of Application

To apply for the bursary award:

1. Visit the Federal Scholarship Board official portal.
2. Read the guidelines carefully.
3. Complete the application form online.
4. Print out the filled application form.

Double applications will lead to disqualification.

Only one application per person is allowed.

Prepare and Attach Required Documents

Each applicant must attach the following:

• Admission Letter from the school
• Current CGPA result
• Certificate of State of Origin

Make sure the documents are clear and complete.

No incomplete applications will be accepted.

Know the Registration Dates

The registration portal will open on 18 April 2025.

The portal will close on 29 May 2025.

Applications sent after the closing date will not be accepted.

Understand the Important Conditions

The award is only for studies within Nigeria.

It starts from the beginning of the academic session.

No candidate can hold two awards at the same time.

Only full-time studies are allowed under this award.

Students cannot change course or school during the award.

Breaking these rules can end the award.
