Understanding the 2024 JAMB Results

In the 2024 UTME, over 1.94 million candidates registered, taking their exams across 700 centres in 118 towns nationwide from 19 April to 29 April. Out of the total candidates, only 0.4% scored above 300 marks, and 24% achieved scores of 200 or above, according to JAMB’s Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede. Meanwhile, 76% of candidates scored below 200. This data reveals the competitive nature of the examination and helps guide your next steps.

JAMB will not reveal the identity of the highest-scoring candidate, as the UTME is a ranking examination with different admission criteria depending on the institution.
