The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) administers the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) each year. This computer-based test is essential if you’re looking to enter universities, polytechnics, colleges,, and other higher education institutions in Nigeria.

JAMB has recently announced the results of the latest UTME. A total of 1,595,779 candidates registered for the exam, which took place across 708 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres in 105 cities throughout the country.

You can now check your UTME results for 2024 and previous years either online or via SMS. To access your results online, you simply need a device with an internet connection. If you’re without internet access or in an area with limited network coverage, the SMS option might be more convenient, although do bear in mind that your network operator will charge a fee for this service.
